Thiên Kim Trương is a contemplative practitioner whose work explores what it means to meet ourselves with honesty, gentleness, and care.

Her writing is rooted in mindfulness and the simple but often challenging practice of being present with our inner lives. Drawing inspiration from the teachings of her teacher, zen master Thích Nhất Hạnh, trainings in Contemplative Psychotherapy and Child and Youth Care, and her own lived experiences, she reflects on themes of vulnerability, self-awareness, and the often unexplored process of the workings of the subconscious mind.

Rather than offering quick answers or self-improvement strategies, Thiên Kim’s work invites a slower and more contemplative and gentle way of relating to what we feel. Many of the experiences we struggle with—confusion, longing, tenderness, anger, anxiety, or uncertainty—are not problems to fix, but parts of our human experience that can be held with care and curiosity.

Through reflection and conversation, she hopes to create a gentle space for people who are curious about themselves and who feel drawn toward a more mindful way of living.

Thiên Kim was born in Toronto, Canada, where she continues to live and dedicate much of her time to mindfulness practice and nurturing community.
